  • Owner and Principal for the last 25 years of the most successful Hospitality Colleges in Sydney and Parramatta - offering courses in Bar & Cocktail Service, Advance Cocktail, Flaring and Showmanship, Silver Service Waiting Service, TAB training and Wine Education and Wine Service.
  • Graduates from the colleges have obtained work in every major hotel in Sydney including the Hilton, Regent, Intercontinental, Wentworth, Sheraton on the Park, Sydney Casino, ANA, Hotel Nikko are some examples.

  • Author of the best seller "101 Cocktails" - 75,000 copies sold.
  • Author of the Womens Weekly Cocktail Book released in September 1989.
  • Alex Beaumont has competed successfully in numerous cocktail mixing competitions throughout his career both in Australia and Internationally.

  • Trained Frank McDermot and Manuel David, winners World Cocktail Championship and World Efficiency Championship Rome, 1987
  • Winner of Gordon Gin Martini Pouring Championship for a record 3 consecutive times
  • Represented Australia 3 times in the IBA World Cocktail Mixing Championships
  • Awarded 2nd place in the world twice - Los Angeles & Amsterdam
  • Winner of Presidents trophy in Townsville 1988
  • Winner Open National Cocktail Competition - Wrest Point Casino, Hobart, 1990
  • Winner Suntory Cup Team Challenge, together with Trainers from Alex Beaumont Colleges - 1990
  • NSW Team Showmanship (Flairing) Cocktail Championship - Alex Beaumont and Trainers - Regent Hotel Sydney 1990
  • National Team Showmanship - 1990
  • Team manager of the National Cocktail Mixing Team competing at the World Titles in Rome, 1982; Hamburg 1985; Portugal 1990; Mexico City 1990

  • Alex Beaumont has trained numerous winners of State & National titles including the 1996 ABG National team which represented Australia in Japan and were placed 3rd in the world
  • Introduced BAR-FLAIRING competitions to the World International Bartender's Association Cocktail Championships in Sweden 1999
  • Trained Leonie Berriman who won the IBA World Efficiency Cocktail Championship in Sweden in 1999
  • Introduced and currently sponsors the "Eagle Award" for the Highest Achieving Bartender at the annual IBA John Whyte Course held in Singapore
  • International guest judge at the 70th Anniversary of the Nippon National Cocktail Competition held in Tokyo 2001
  • Awarded the International Angelo Zola Award in Slovenia 2002, for work done to promote Bartending around the world. Only awarded every three years and chosen from 37,000 bartenders
  • In 2002, was voted on to the board of the International Bartenders Association, as the vice-president of The Southern - Hemisphere Area.comprising of South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
  • In 2003 Alex was presented by Durobor Glassware with a 1 METRE tall Martini glass in recognition of making Flair-Tending an annual event in the World Cocktail Championships in the I.B.A.
